PROTECTING WOMEN'S RIGHTS 

While women’s rights have been under attack like never before, our community has been fighting back for reproductive freedom and winning victories like HB40, which ensures that the right to choose is protected in Illinois even if Roe vs. Wade is overturned.

In Chicago City Council, I was proud to cast a vote against a $5.5M TIF subsidy to Presence Health system because of their anti-abortion and reproductive health care policies.
